  1. Yeah, anyone worried about terrorism in Europe is obviously a member of Britain First [emoji16]

No, terrorism has nothing to do with it. Your racist opinions on Muslims and immigrants sits very comfortably with those of Britain first. Don’t tell me they don’t.

  2. Do you have any proof that violent crime rose by 20% in the UK last year?

One crime category that's risen massively is people getting run over by trucks. When I was a kid you never had to worry about someone driving a truck through groups of people that were out with their families having a good time.

  3. A well written article and one which I agree with 100%. There was a arb note written many years ago called 'Ivy, boon or bane'and it came up with similar conclusion. I always persuade client to leave it where possible, cutting it back to give more light if necessary.

  4. How is taking half (or more) of one persons money and nothing from others fair? The top 10% pay more tax than the rest combined. Where is the incentive to do well for yourself and your family if you have corybn come knocking (or any party for that matter) when you've worked hard and made a successful life for you and your family?

I do think some of his ideas are good in principle in reality who pays for it?

I agree with most of this. Why should those who work hard all their lives pay for those who don't. The high rate of tax mustn't be punitive but there are plenty of high earners who could afford to pay more.

Of course if they pay less tax then they might be richer and spend more money on employing people like me and you, so we pay their tax. It's a difficult balance.

Same with austerity, you employ someone who pays tax then you sack them to save money and then pay them through the welfare state.

Every government needs more money it's just working out who to rob first!

  5. Tbh, one of the bad things about our democracy is that people that don't contribute get to vote. I think there is an argument that people that don't work etc shouldn't vote....

As it is people vote for Corbyn as they want "free money" from the people that get up each morning to go to work :(

I think you will find that most people would rather have a job than have to live a life on the dole.

Corbyn just wants a fairer society for all of us. What's wrong with that? The gap between rich and poor grew bigger under Cameron than any other prime minister. May will be the same.

  6. Yeah, I'm still waiting for George Osborne's emergency budget. I also thought a Brexit vote would lead to a sudden recession?

The remoan side told the biggest porkies.

We haven't left yet! The drop in the £ has ruined many businesses and investment in our biggest industries is at an all time low. Growth has also dropped off.

I'm a tree surgeon not an economist but it looks bleak to me.

However a deal with Canada and Australia would be good. Why do we have to leave the eu to do this?

  7. You can't think the same of us, we simply want the will of the people put into action, as was promised before the referendum .

And we don't. I still think brexit was based on a pack of lies that life would be better outside the eu. I don't subscribe to that and will continue to what I can to scupper it.

  8. Brexit is not the problem.

The problem is the re-moaners and most of the establishment trying the frustrate brexit.

We, of course, think exactly the same of you! Better the devil you know than the devil you don't. And you really really don't.

  9. You really think Germany will risk 30K car workers jobs?

No, Germany will do everything it can to retain a good deal with us. It's the others we need to worry about. They won't be caring about ours or Germany's economy only their own. The Eu needs ALL the other member to agree to a deal, not just Germany.

It took 7 years for the EU to agree to deal with Canada it is was nearly scuppered by a single Belgium municipal representative who wanted a better deal for their farmers.

I fear May is going to sail our economy into the rocks just to get brexit.

  10. Last year around this time I felt elated. We were leaving the EU, the economy was plodding along ok, and Corbyn was promising things he couldn't deliver.

I don't see too much has changed. I'm not May's biggest fan, but I believe she or her tory replacement can still get a good deal in Brexit talks. Don't forget,Germany exports around 750000 cars a year to Britain. Both need some kind of deal. If a deal can't be agreed, then we should walk away, and establish our own trade deals.

Corbyn would have been a disaster in Brexit talks.

Too many people want to see Brexit and this country fail. There must be some positives living here? plenty of people risk their lives trying to get here.

And plenty of people gave their lives so we can live as we do.

It's all very well saying Germany sells us 750000 cars a year but brexit isn't a deal with Germany its with 26 other countries. They ain't going to make it better or easier for us unless they get a good deal which will cost us dear. Now we've got a lame duck prime minister do you really think we will be better off?!!!

All those winers from Wolverhampton will be wining even more.
