Hi Steve - I'm heading off to the sun for the winter - see recent post in firewood forum.
I'll be applying for a new account in my own name using [email protected] - I hope I can remain part of the community
Thanks for all your support over the past 3 years
How do I close the WFWales account..?
Keep up the good work...!
Cheers

Hi Steve
Can I post a message with a link to the official launch of our Woodfuel Quality Scheme on the firewood forum please? It's at the Royal Welsh Show next Tuesday.
follow the link "NEW" on our front page - Home Wood Fuel Wales - your one-stop source for wood-fuel information.
Thanks in anticipation. WFW Wales membership is open to firewood producers and sellers as well as those like Eco Angus suppling heating equipment. It's membership covers Wales and the Marches!
Cheers

Hey Slack ma girdle! I'm REALLY sorry for not getting back to you earlier, I've only just noticed your message. Information on the QA scheme is indeed a little thin on the ground - there is a news item which says"The beginning of the month saw Consultant Andrew Morgan visit 3 Woodfuel Wales members, to introduce them to the new Draft Quality Manual. The manual will help them put in place the processes that will ensure that they can demonstrate that their wood fuel operations are controlled, managed responsibly and incorporate traceability, ensuring that the customer gets the product they deserve.
Quality wood fuel is the future. Woodfuel Wales members are leading the way forward."
Fact is the pilot scheme is still ongoing - one of the originals dropped out and another has been reqruited. Call the office for a chat if you fancy.
