  1. Hi there mate, thought a PM would be better on such a subject. Yeah see how that made no sense. I'm self employed under the CIS scheme but I do have a boss. He's deducts our tax so that we don't have to. He just does it so we don't have to mess about with too much. As he learnt from the past that lads he used to pay and not deduct their tax the lads were seeing a big chunk of money and then not saving enough money to pay their taxes at the end of the year. so he changed it to make it easier for his staff. Good bloke. This is my first year working self employed but as I am classed as self employed I will be doing a tax return soon as I've just had some paper work from HM Revenue and Customs. Iv'e been working over seas alot in an unrelated job. (Scuba Diving) and so now have to sort out this stuff now.I've only been self employed coming upto 6 months now. Hope that cleared it up a bit??

  2. Hi mate. Just was reading the post about the Big tree failure. I noticed someone asking about the fact you work in Singapore? Is there a big arb scene out there? Are any opportunities for Arborists from other countries to find employment? Thanks for any response
