  1. Ive just got the 22" version of this from amazon. i am very impressed with the look of it. seams solid and the sliding mounts are really easy to install. i'm impressed with the light it gives off, much better than the ring halogens i had befor. its a very bright white light.

Simply because you can slide the mounting brackets to wherever suits you. The ones pictured in the op have fixed mounting points that may not suit your purpose.

Other than that, go for it, they are pretty amazing as far as light output goes. Just make sure you mount them where thay are not shining on your vehicle, they are seriously bright and the glare can be a bit much.

the problem would be it wouldnt lift 300kg with a grab on the front, its not balasted for it, it would tip forward i think.

  3. As requested (andrew McEwan) here are the pics of my grillo barrow.

I built the footplate visible behind the engine and added the tow-hitch on the front (so you tow in reverse, but the gears are the same in both directions).

I also built the log frame that straps onto the bed of the barrow, with that in place it will carry nearly 1 cubic meter of logs. By standing on the footplate it is more stable.

  4. i have a 362, its a nice saw, powerful but a little heavier. two of my team members have a 261, its also a very good saw, they have used them hard and they have taken it.

i personaly run the 362 (like i did with the 361, which is now 9 years old and going strong) with a 16inch bar, it gives it plenty of grunt. the 261 takes a bigger bar ok but does lack power on it and over long term its going to wear out quicker running one. if the waight doesnt bother you, i'd go for the more powerful saw.

  5. Yup, it is the simplest way of getting the saw to perform something getting closer to the MS200. Just stick a 6mm drill through the part that comes through the side cover and follow it with a 10mm drill. It will make the saw come alive but will not fix an inherent fault if there is is a fault with the saw!

Thankyou! just done this with my first older 201t (2011 model) after reading your post. its a diffrent saw, much closer to a 200t.

  6. this box looks more useful to me. the fully covered boxs are ok, but anything put in the back is bound to slide forward Under the shelfing area and the only way to get it is to climb in and reach up there. without the back cover its easier to climb in. also if you are chipping or putting logs in there you dont really want the back cover part.

though it would be useful if they did it with just the sides, like gready boards and no roof on the back.....

  7. i have a rock exotica swivel on my harness. i chose the rock exotica because the eyes where bigger and the crab can move around through it easier, it doesnt catch on the gate.

i have put it directly onto the bridge, so its no further away than just a crab on the ring on the bridge. i climb on a prussic and dont find it twists up any more than befor. i do find it help alot once in the crown, you can turn, pass around the trunk and turn round and not have the mainline twist up.

  8. i dont have a Honda one, but a grillo. brilliant machine, rated for 400kg and doesnt leave a mark if you plan your route and dont turn in the middle of the lawn.... also fitted a tow-hitch to pull the TW125 around, gear in the barrow and chipper on the back, all on site in one trip. the other bonus being it fits in the back of the pickup so i can still tow the chipper to the job.
