  1. I assume it is just the motor that is 3 phase and the rest of the machine is single phase. I am an electrician, we used to convert 3 phase on gas burners by placing a capacitor accross 2 terminals of the electric motor. You will need to contact the motor manufacturer for the correct size capacitor and wiring diagram. Get the technical department to email you the details. The capacitor throws the voltage out of phase to create a false 3 phase supply. You should be able to buy the capacitor from somebody such as CPC, Radio Spares or Maplin. Regards Ian
