  1. am i right in reading u sharpen ur chains every time you fill up ? do other people do this? i keep the saw running allday with out sharping olny sharping when i hit some thing .

     

    on the fuel i think saws not running right .

  2. there brill for a light 4x4 great fun . i have seen them go where landys couldnt! mainly beacuse there about a ton lighter. a friend of mine had one loved it off roaded it a fair bit .now in the last week we have just fitted a land rover tdi200 in the front of it ! body to go back on in a few weekends time .

  3. ha ha i have just brought a sj awell to keep the fuel costs down on the truck!

     

    the last company i worked for they changed there vans round evey 3 years 2 sprinters,2 vitos and a 7.5 ton lorry . custom paint,alloys the works on these vans . personally i thought it just put people off . becasue they thought he was just charging to much .

     

    but them thats how he did it and it worked for him .

  4. my o23 av is not oiling have taken apart and looked andwhat i noticed is the plastic oil cog keeps jumping off the main shaft . anybody know why this is happening ? does anybody have the parts diragam online so i can check i got all the parts as i think its been rebuilt before?

  5. i have been looking at doing the same thing for a few months now and have had no luck in buying one . so this week i went to talk to a local hydraulics company to talk about making my own and to get a list of parts and a price .

     

    buy the end of the hour long chat or so we had designed it ,found and brought a power pack and hope fully but the end of the week i would have a log splitter which wen i pull my finger out i would be able to bolt to a trailer the biggest thing i would say is you getting a log splitter to save your back so a nice big working surface and as little bending down as possiable !
