Is the Malvern one a go Terry?[/quote
Yes Ian it is.
I had a meeting with Husqvarna on Wednesday to discuss sponsorship of The 3 Counties show and Woodfest Wales.
It looks very promising, But an official announcement will but made in the coming weeks.
Book the time off work the two shows will be the best you'll come to !

whats the stihl/husky gag then i missed that?
I said over the PA system "The top 3 climbers in each class will win a fantastic stihl top handle saw" The event was sponsored by HUSQVARNA:blushing:
-
loved the stihl husky slip up lol.
Yes I just wanted to curl up and die when i said that:blushing:
Luckily Husqvarna saw the funny side.

But whos going and wheres everyone tenting up?
I'll try to make it for the last day, but it's uncertain if I'll make it.
We normally camp at the back of the club house but it's not a official camp site. Phone the organizer (Carrick) to see what he thinks
-
Hat's off to all the novices setting some very fast times.
Big well done to Daryl Platton 14.81 I think is a record for side spikes. It is the fastest time I have records for anyway.
Grant set a time of 16secs the first time he competed in the novice class and now has the world record
Daryl I'll be your manager for 25% of all future winning.. What do you say???????

If you were to compete at the APF Im sure i could find time to let you go up on toe spikes.
That is if someone will let you lend a pair, There not easy to make and alot of the climbers are scared to let others use them in case they brake them.
-
well done there
I have always wanted to have a go
but i think it,s a shame they don't do it on work spikes
Hi bob
The Two shows I organize ( Woodfest Wales & APF ) There is a class where you can ONLY wear side spikes
This is to encourage those who have not taken part in the sport to have a go,Its a totally separate competition.
