  2. hi guys and girls , ive been considering buying a tractor crane combo with a large grain trailer eg. valtra with roofmount botex .

i wondered how many people would consider hiring in kit like this iv worked out a day rate of around £300 this could include disposal of chip and timber if required

if i do buy one ill most probly get a 8inch tp chipper it seems a shame to chip anything above that size with logs selling as they do . Maybe a processor at some point to

id be happy to jump out the cab as well lol

    any input would be great:thumbup:

  3. A friend of the family has asked me to manage 20 acres of woodland my buisness involves mainly urban trees etc so this should be fun the client doesnt want to pay for the work but says i can have the benifits of any grant ,sales of timber just wanted to know which grants are avalible the tree were coppiced at some point in the last 40-50year by my guess and is almost only sycamore at perfect processing sizes any help would be great

  4. what the other firm is doing is not illegal, my mom is a architect alot of builders will write to customers offering quotes contruction works related to the planning it is common practice and i dont think that there is anything wrong with it. Ive often thought about doing it myself just never got around to it id probly only target apps without contractors its a dog eat dog world lol
