haha i know but i got peoples advice!!!!!
-
anybody that knows Trevor and Carl will know they are not stupid and will tell their students wether they have done a good job or not. Also what they can improve on and in my case the gob i done was too small, both trev and carl explained to me my mistakes ( things that i can deffinetly improve on). i don't think i'm the only one but i think that the mistakes i have made will improve in time and experience will certainly help me to achieve the best standards of a medium fell in diferent situations.

Carl and Trevor reynold are my college tutors and both will be at the fair but unsure if hes taking photos but would have thought he would be

yeh i don't mind any of the comments people have to say as i want to learn. thanks for everyones advice so far........
I have been searching all over norfolk and nobody is taking people on. I have however got to speak to a bloke on wednesday about some work experience. Hoefully he will allow me to work with his firm so i can learn more in the working side of arb aswell as at college.

yeh my tutors told me everything about the fell - before-durng and after. risks involved etc. the chestnut was leaning slightly to where it was going.
-
the equipments ok i suppose, could do with a few new saws but part from that its ok. the chestnut was my first medium fell, other from that we have just been felling scotts pines and larches in a forest

i'm at easton college (norfolk) why you ask?

as i said, i havn't had any experience of working in the arboriculture world apart from a few little private jobs. I am only getting my tutors advice at the moment and i believe what they teach our group is good information. I believe this course is going to help me massively towards knowledge and also experience of starting life in the arb world

i think my tutors said well done to me as it was my first medium fell. My college tutors are good at what they do, every person that i have spoke to and who they have taught in the past havn't had one bad thing to say about them.
-
whats wrong with that hinge for a medium fell? let me know any advice you've got about any of my photos. many thanks
-
yeh course they give me some guidence before and after the fell. It was my first medium fell, i started college in Sep 09 and so i have alot to learn. My tutors are very good at giving guidence throughout the fell and also very good at teaching our course.

yeh they both said they were very impressed. I was happy with it myself but if you look in one of the photos i had the chainsaw at a slight angle which ended up giving me a slight tilted back cut btu apart from that i wa shappy with it.

yeh will do, ill put it in the stunt fell gallery then.

This is all private work for family friends and people i know very well. I'm currently at college doing a National Diploam in arb, i havn't yet found a part time work experience placement so friends allowing me to practise and have the experience on trees they want down i feel grateful.

i had people standing either end of the road ensuring there were no cars able to get passed.

I'm going out to New Zealand for work in early January, i have my working holiday visa sorted and so its just a case of looking for the work before i go! I have recently completed a level 3 National Diploma in arboriculture, i also have Cs 30, 31, 38, 39, woodchipper and first aid at work certificate. any help in helping me gain employment in NZ would be gratefully appreciated.
Private message me on here or email me [email protected]
Many thanks
