  1. because my organ is a special edition and a collectors item, got an old upright piano that'd I'd happily give away, but the organ?? no way unless it was to a very close family member.

    here's a pic -

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

  2. spiral cracks can be caused when a tree which has grown twisted is "untwisted" by a change of wind direction (imagine twisting a rope the "wrong way"). apparently this rarely leads to failure.

    of course more information (pics, targets etc) would help

    :thumbup1:

  5. trouble is chris, your asking for an identity based on your dead portions of oak, considering oak have the second highest number of associated fungal species recorded at around 2000 give a few hundred or so, well you can get a long long guessing game going here!

    I am asuming the white portions of the area circled are the "shrooms"

    thats part of the fun!

    :biggrin:

    yes the mushrooms are just visible

  6. oyster mushroom?

    porcelain mushroom?

    merip in its deadwood feeder form?

    no, no and no.

    you got the deadwood hint though- we are dealing with a saprobe

    i should have been clearer with the mushroom hint- by this i mean "classic" mushroom shape, "stem and cap" style.

    not a bracket

    carry on... :thumbup:
