Find a guy who is great at porting chainsaws,then there is no problem with 30",just remember to upgrade your oil pump..... that's what I did.......

One problem is that sending out of the UK you can use royal mail up to 1kg. As soon as you go over this it gets expensive.

 

The courier I use I can send up to 20kg on a next day service bit it costs me min £25-00+vat.

 

But I can send stuff all over Europe no problem.

 

What do you need and I can send to Denmark (I thought I'd sent a PM ref this as feel I'm seriously hi jacking the thread )

muff mod the saw and retune the carb,then it should be no problem

I run my 046 with 8T/20"+7T/24" with no problem in hardwood

Have it ported and you can run with a 28" bar with no problen

dont use money on another big saw

example:441 without M tronic 28"

have you guys seen the filter from the new 441/460 Rescue saw,same material as 261

neither of em... 460 any day!!

Listen when he richen the saw up(H screw) after it is to lean,when it start to 4 stroke in wot(Full throttle),stop richen and then you got a perfect running saw

ps. easier to hear with a muffler mod

Sounds a bit like what my saws doing now , well before he opens the H up...

 

Will definitely open her up a bit after running it in

 

EDIT: How much are you selling the 260 for?!

Just checked my 260FB,it is in a very bad condition,the main bearings are shot bigtime,that the flywheel has made a hole in the jug,3-4 fins are missing.On clutch side,the brake wire around the clutch drum is shot....

I don´t know about the crank..... but it´s not broken

I personally think,that it´s should be a parts saw........
