  1. I quite agree with you, we work on that principal with our fencing.
  2. Hi, I know what you mean. For some reason every other job recently seems to have a stump in the way of our fence line. Since the new year 7 jobs in total have had hedges or stumps there.
  3. Hi, we have had 3 stumps done for as little as £85.00 and then on the other hand paid £110.00 for a bigger single stump.
  4. Thanks, I understand what your saying
  5. lol, would it be any good for cutting low?
  6. Hi All, I've been offered a Stihl ms 390 18" bar, little use, the lad bought a bigger one. I'm just into Stump Grinding. Would this chainsaw be any good? I Would appreciate any comments.
  7. That's a nice tidy fence job.
  8. Hi, I agree with what you are saying but as I initially said I would be putting it to work as much as I could and not just relying on the odd stump here and there.
  9. Hi, Yes I can understand what your saying, but it is nice to take jobs on without relying on other folk.
  10. Hi, Thanks for your comments. Obviously you like the Carltons then? Ray
  11. Hi to all of you on the forum. I am new to this and have read many of the posts with great interest. I am a fencing manufacturer/contractor in the Notts/Derby area. I am about to purchase a new Carlton SP4012D Stump Grinder. We very often come across tree stumps and always need them grinding out. Hence the reason we are buying one. As you all know these are not cheap so we would be offering a stump grinding service as an extra to our business. I would value all feedback and thoughts on Grinders in general. Cheers Ray
