  2. So what are the best ways to try and prevent tennis elbow?

Those that do have it is it in your favoured arm ie right or left handed.

I had trouble with my most dominant arm. First signs of it, follow my stretching guide as posted yesterday.

  3. Morning all,

I was fortunate enough to be able to have a short break in Tenerife just before christmas.

One evening me and my boy went to the bar whilst waiting for Mrs Jellystock to get ready ( (-| )

Sitting next to us was a guy with 2 kids who I struck up a conversation with.

I explained that we were only on a 4 night break due to my main holiday to Germany on the bike,

He has new Bandit and we hit it off straight away, he also used to be a MP in the navy a fews back.

I asked if he'd ever applied for the civvy police after leaving the navy.

He told me that he had applied to SEVEN forces and got turned down by em all!

He said that he thinks his brother was the cause as he has criminal record, I told him that it was unusual to be turned down by so many forces and then he asked "Have you heard of Charles Bronson?",

  4. That's the one:lol:All of your Police training was based round that episode.:laugh1:

Funnily enough, we had to watch the opening scene of The Life of Brian

(Jesus on the mount, "Blessed are the Greek?" & "Who you calling big nose?" you know the one)

    to Identify Public Order offences!

  5. Where is the smoke coming in from? the stove itself or through the registration plate?

If its the plate then re-seal it, all sealants break down in time and need re-sealing.

Was it a vigorous sweeping? did you loosen the sealant?

Sounds like you aint got enough air feeding the stove. what Kw is the stove?

Big stove in a small room aint good as there wont be enough air to feed it.

first thing I'd do after re-sealing is to fit an airbrick as close the stove as possible.

Then I'd fit a spinner on the chimney pot.

It should draw even through a cold chimney.

I cant see how wind direction would make a difference, which ever way it blows it still does the same thing. As air passes over the pot its pressure is less than that in the chimney thus sucking the smoke out, bit like the lift of an aeroplane wing.

    Hope this helps.

    Jellystock.

  6. USED TO HAVE????

    Why'dya get rid of it?

I love this bike, only gave £800 for it with 19,000 miles from a family member who was the 2nd owner.

Whizzed up to Newcastle last summer for a test trip with the missus and full luggage b4 our trip to Germany. She didnt miss a beat on either trip.

Done quite a bit to the bike last year.

Hugger, undertray and new braided lines on the cards for this year ready for the warmer weather!
