Rung M Large today. he told me the problem and got it sorted earlier on. The problem was that the pulley on the shaft that moved forward. just loosened the two grub screws and pushed the pulley back on the shaft. Problem sorted. Thats guys for the help. Iam only a newbie to processors so sorry for the trouble
-
the distance between the centreline of the locking pin and the end of the pto shaft is greater than the distance between centreline of the slot on machine and the gear wheel.
Therefore when sliding the pto shaft onto the m/c the shaft wont lock in place
-
its a 6 spline shaft. the distance behind the slot and the gear wheel is too short. it wont lock into the slot. the shaft keeps coming off
-
tried a shaft from local farmer. the problem is the pin wont go into the slot, i think i need a shorter coupling. is there a hakki pilke pto shaft with a shorter than normal coupling ???
cheers:confused1:
