  1. Hello all, i have a hakki pilke 2x running on pto. From time to time the power in the splitting rams seem to drop and the timber doesnt get split. next thing its ok. would anybody know or expierence such a problem ?? cheers BP
  2. Rung M Large today. he told me the problem and got it sorted earlier on. The problem was that the pulley on the shaft that moved forward. just loosened the two grub screws and pushed the pulley back on the shaft. Problem sorted. Thats guys for the help. Iam only a newbie to processors so sorry for the trouble
  3. the distance between the centreline of the locking pin and the end of the pto shaft is greater than the distance between centreline of the slot on machine and the gear wheel. Therefore when sliding the pto shaft onto the m/c the shaft wont lock in place
  4. its a 6 spline shaft. the distance behind the slot and the gear wheel is too short. it wont lock into the slot. the shaft keeps coming off
  5. tried a shaft from local farmer. the problem is the pin wont go into the slot, i think i need a shorter coupling. is there a hakki pilke pto shaft with a shorter than normal coupling ??? cheers:confused1:
  6. Just bought a processor. Been toying with the idea of hiring it out. Probably processor and a two man team on a daily or weekly basis. Any of u interested. Located in Mid Ulster area .

  9. Hello all, iam only a part time chainsaw user. 1-2 days a week. nearly had accident last weekend. saw run up the side of my shoe. So need a pair of decent steel toe cap chainsaw boots. bout £150 budget. Cheers

    he had a ms 310 with 18 inch bar and a ms390 with 20 inch bar - the ms390 was only 35 pound more. so i said why not. its a fair step up from the ms230 i was used to !!!!!!!!!!!!

    just bought a ms390 - 20 inch bar. good piece of kit. need some advice. iam looking to buy a couple of spare chains - what is the difference between chains and what would be the best for cutting firewood. iam a novice as u can tell thanks

    what do u guys think of this saw. trading in a ms 230. just want something a bit bigger with a bit more grunt. Would it run a 20 inch bar? buying it just to cut my firewood cheers

  16. hello all, anybody know if there is anybody who hires a firewood processor or anybody that would be willing to process a load of timber in the mid-ulster area. have thought about buying a second hand one, but second hand m/cs very hard to get here in n ireland cheers
