  1. Occasionally the bottom roller on my 150 seems to stick or slow down, hitting reverse then forward again seems to solve it, this happened about 4 times the other day, ive not used it since through fear of causing further damage if its something serious???
  2. Cheers will ring on Monday, The feed rollers on my 150 look slightly uneven and not completely paralell, is this down to anything bad? cant say i have noticed this on other machines ive used. Nick.
  3. Tried that number but its a fax. Nick
  4. Hi mate, Are you self employed or just subbing yourself out? the daily rate for the latter differs around the country, if its just you, your climbing/rigging kit and a couple of saws i would look at around £120 a day, for a more tricky job with a bit more traveling push for £150. If you are self employed then you need a business plan, work out how many days during the year you are going to work, then calculate how much your business costs to run per year with everything taken in to account like fuel, insurance etc. Divide that figure with the number of days you will work in that year, that will give you a starting figure, then just add on what profit you expect to earn for the day.
  5. Hi, Where can i download or purchase a maintenance/service manual for a 2003, TW 150 DHB? Thanks, Nick.
  6. I find a single rope to get me in the crown is fine but use a 10m length of 13mm Yale spearmint and a swivel eye positioner for secondary/branch walks etc P.S. dont forget the stopper knot in the end to prevent the end of the rope whipping through the positioner causing a nice swing, trust me it hurts. I Allways use a steel cored flipline when cutting.
  7. Hi mate, allready put a deposit down on a timberwolf but thanks anyway, do you have any other kit for sale? Im after a vehicle specifically with chipbox and tool storage??? Out of interest, why are you shutting down??
  8. Im looking for a good 6" chipper, Im located in the SW but GF lives near Bristol and have family in the Midlands so can do a bit of travelling. Anyone bought from Teeside Woodchippers before? im looking at a TW 150 (reconditioned) with about 700 hours from them. Thoughts/comments welcome.
