Turn the immobiliser off the red dashboard lights come on with the key but not the amber lights, (ie glow plugs lights etc). engine spins over fine but not starting. This does not happen all the time and suddenly the amber lights work and she starts on the buttom. However at time if writing it will not cure itselfe. Any help please, Thanks

  3. hi all, Has anybody got any feed back on the Portek Ultra Chain master Mk2. We purchased one and found that the "Cam" that clamps the chain between the two bars started to bend in a banana shape after a few teeth were sharpened. when we spoke to portek they said we could see the problem and would look into it as when they tested it they did not bother to clamp the chain, just held it in place by hand. The problem being that after a few sharpening of teeth when you pull the chain forward it jumps over the squeezed spot slowing the whole process down. They have told me to take it back to the retailer for a full refund to which I have, and have been refunded my money. Has any one else had this problem?. I see that various other sites on this forum are selling this particular model and will look forward to hearing from other members. Thanks
