  1. ZUBAT is hands down the best choice for a prunig say on the market today , IMHO. As far as hand saws go for bigger limbs..., I'd go for the IBUKI! Its blad will fit either way in its scabor so no worries for you lefties out there. Also, if you own a HAYAUCHI pole saw, you can swap blades with the IBUKI hand saw if the need arrises! HC
  2. I use the VT to adjust the length of my flip line & lanyard. The rope my VT is attached to is 1/2" Blue Streak (now called Arbormaster) and the VT is made of 3/8" Sta-Set line. I use a fishermans know to attach each end of the VT to the biner, make sure the bulky side of the fishermans knot is faceing outward...not inward! Its just a matter of getting it diled in and its a very slick set up!!! See picture: HC

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
