I know what you mean, but I think the problem with picloram is the enviromental issues of damaging surrounding plants trees etc. and the cost of the product, and to get 100% kill in one treatment is unlikely If you are using the correct rates, and not overdosing perhaps? I think my industry Is going to have big problems, if they don't regulate the use and application of all pesticides soon. As an example you can buy 480g glyphosate of eBay The environment agency are testing ground water and drinking water for it's presence at the moment, and due to the water frame directive an ec rulings It could be banned if unacceptable levels are found. Now where's that bottle of weedkiller, so I can have another drink hiccup

As previously said the seeds are not the problem, I certainly would not be mowing or moving it around your site as it is spread from the stem and the rhizome root system! Lots of experts in Japanese Knotweed, I would recommend the environment agency knotweed code of practice for more informed good advice!
