  2. cheers peter, and do you think the uk is the best country to study arb? or do other countrys offer better courses?
  3. i currently have a national diploma in countryside management, although i would like to get a more specific arb qualification with a view to perhaps going into consultancy in a few years.
  4. hi guys, i have been working as a countryside manager/tree surgeon for about 3 years now and am thinking of doing a degree in arboriculture. i have been told that tehre are very few places that offer a decent degree in this subject so i was wondering if anyone could give me any advise or feedback on courses. i was also wondering if anyone would suggest studying abroad in places such as australia, canada or the us? i don't really want to waste 3 years of my life so i want to make sure i get the best degree available. thanks in advance, ollie

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
