  4. thanks rob yeh i am lookin to sell it on i will upload some pics later i think i will give the root a miss this time its pritty rotten so i dont think its worth the labour getting it out i took a couple of smaller butt to the local cabinet maker chris ayres he said its pro the best walnut tree hes seen slow grown and plenty of quality walnut it think i will sell it first and mill to the buyers requirments my kiln is still under construction anyway thanks for all the great advice guys A1
  5. is it worth kinln drying it or air drying slower the better i thinks
  6. hi you mean just dig around it and pull it out ? the stump is about 5 ft across its gona be a big task but will it be worth it ?
  7. hi all i just came across a large walnut tree that had fallen so i asked the land owner it he wanted to sell it he did lol theres bout 5 tons of it any ideas how to maximize it for profit ? is it best to swingmill it or plank it with the bandsaw ?
