  1. hi all same here i just had a phone call from a moody planning enforcement officer saying she wants to come and see me i run 2 mobile mills from our yard and only run a couple of times a week at most but she had multiple complaints over noise ? i am in the middle of nowhere here lol looks like there's going to be a showdown and p45 s in the post v soon this country is done for there's no Great left in Britain just office jobs for the public sector and not the working man its just TAX!!!!

  5. hi andy i made my own bandsaw 3 years ago still got it to i have my blades made to order i use a ripping blade 1.3tpi 0.3 or 0.5 1"1/4 or 1"1/2 cuts most things except metal lol i been looking for my own butt welder there hard to find my saw is on [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-WA5jdJ5R4]YouTube - cutting a big log for fencing[/ame] i have all the gaurds on it now tho there is a real good site for homemade bandmills its Home Built Bandsaw Bandmill - Build your own Bandsaw Sawmill a welth of infomation on there well worth a looksy ricky
  6. nice job jim i made 3 tables a couple of years ago from green oak thay moved and shrunk a fair bit but still look good some nice colour in yours there ricky
  7. hi what sort of price are the blades ? i am payinf over £40 a blade for my saw 5100mm long and a 30 mile drive lol ricky
  8. so expensive for me to buy them now anyone made there own welder ? can import the band blade in 100m reals for just over a £1 a meter so its defo worht wile any ideas ? ricky

  10. hi john i am just constructing a kiln any pointers m8 its made from a 18ft curtiansider body roughly how long do u kiln oak slabs 2" thick for ?an what moisture content do u go down to ? thanks in advance ricky
