You can use a length of friction cord with a double fishermans on each end but the eyes keep everything tidy. my old one wich hade the double fishermans on the end was 55'' long without the knots. But some people like them long and other like them short. Hope this helps

Get your self a eye to eye piece of cord. such as ocean polyester or armor pruss. i have armor pruss cos me about £27 but its hade some use and still not a single scortch or pluck onit. fr jones or honey brothers will sell the under accessory cord

We have a small throw line bag with the block in to send up to the climber with the rigging rope cliped to the bag. When climber gets bag clip rope to harness set up pully open the block rope in and your ready to rig. sounds silly but works well
