  1. going to put a new tank breather in on Saturday and see what happens
  2. why does it do it when its wet only, the pipe from the carb to the breather is still plugged into each other so to speak
  3. ok,here goes,i currently have a husky 365,2011 model, not xtorq, thing is,saw runs great in normal weather but as soon as its pretty wet it dies out and runs poorly until you loosen the petrol cap and put it back on again, seems to draw water into the carb a little too, tried changing the diaphrams but has made little difference, might be a breather problem but doesn't appear to be,plug and filters all good, anyone any ideas??
  4. ebay has been flooded with fakes recently, mainly husky 395 xp's,after a bit of digging i found out they were made by a company in china and being sold for about £70(they were only 49cc),someone must have imported them and put the husky stickers on them then sold them on for a "bargain" £250,strange thing was people were buying them considering the only thing in common was the colour(not even the same shape),they seem to be slowing down now although there is a few second hand ones kicking about, must be people realising they have been done
  5. hi,just to say the saw has been at the dealers who are stumped as to whats wrong, there going to be in touch with husqvarna about it to see if they can identify the problem
  6. crank bearings are ok,tried that
  7. its the drum itself, when you rev the saw the drum must rise a few millimetres and hit the side casing
  8. yeh exact, same part number aswell
  9. yeah iv tried that aswell, its all where it should be,the drum is sitting in the worm drive for the oil pump fine, needle bearing greased, power mate fine,it really annoying as the saws going great apart from that.
  10. hi,thanks for the reply, the drum and needle bearing are both new,its a real strange one,i cant figure it out at all
  11. im having bother with the clutch drum on a saw, when you rev it the clutch drum seems to come in contact with the side casing, the clutch is on properly as is the side casing,if i dont get it sorted it will start cutting a hole in the side casing i would imagine, the drum has slight up and down play on the spline but i would have thought that was meant to be,anyone any ideas ??
