  1. Decided I'd try the old inlet needle as I was at a complete loss...... started up no problem runs sweet.....must have been a crappy part from the cheap carb rebuild kit I purchased from eBay!!
  2. Cannot see any missing plugs, in fact cannot see any at all.
  3. What / where is the high speed check valve?
  4. It has a new needle valve it came as part of the kit. I will check the pressure tomorrow, but when I remove the carb there is pressure there as it sprays petrol out of the fuel line.
  5. 2015 - running on fully synth stihl oil.
  6. How do I pressure check the carb? No I know how to start stihl saws. It will start after a de flood but then runs terribly and will die if you take revs off. Then if you try and restart it from that point it is impossible and just floods.
  7. At a bit of a loss here as carb is spotless with new all serviceable parts.........I will check the clearance later for the coil gap...it seemed as though excessive force was required to generate a spark.
  8. Was straight out of the packet I will compare it to the other old one......see if I can see a difference.
  9. Only part I couldnt really access was the adjustment screws on the carb for H and L as the plastic lugs......But as these haven't moved cant really see the need to adjust.
  10. Yes I did, I've done quite a few of these before, 100% assembled in the correct orientation. Just cant understand why its flooding so bad. I was also thinking this may be a coil issue as you really have to pull to get a spark, so not sure if I have an intermittent issue there, new plug also....
  11. Hi, I'm trying to repair my MS211 saw, It was running fine until last year it would start tried to rev and it would just die. I thought it was the diaphragm so brought a repair kit this year and fitted it. Now I can barely get the saw to start now and it just floods i.e the exhaust is full of petrol, I've had the carb apart cleaned it checked no debris in the inlet valve. I'm at a bit of a loss what to do now. I did get it started it ran really rough and just died when throttled off......it seems it is just massively over fueling. Any ideas..... ?
  12. OK.....another bad idea of mine, I'll just leave the fence 'dog legging' around the euc (re visit the problem in a couple of years), thanks for the help. I'll still try to get a pic up.
  13. Redirect for falling down or expansion of girth? I'm actually thinking about taking the panel away from the tree now from the advice given and making up a couple of panels and joining them to the tree directly, as the tree has totaly screwed up my boundary line......Hopefully I'll have some pics of the cut at the weekend. Any particular screws or nails which are a big no no for a euc?
  14. so best off leaving alone to heal naturally then.
