Hi,
Recently I came at work across European larch canker, it's not on ArbTalk list. Is it because it is not significant?
Most of larches in this place with visible wounds (in crown and on stem), age 50 approx. Larch cover less than 20 percent. comes second after Scots pine.
My question is: should owner of trees consider any action?
From what I found, Lachnellula willkommii does not cause death of tress so removal is not necessary in my opinion.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks

German company Kieferle is producing chemicals to deter wildlife, wildly used in Poland to protect farmland against deers and wild boars. It is really good. I know that more than two similar companies doing this stuff in Poland also, try reserch this, I think it's better/cheaper than fencing option.

Swiss company must invite you to work there and prove that anyone in region can't fulfil position. base on that you will (or not) get visa. Also problem is language or languages used there... deepens where you will stay it might be German, Italian or Swiss-German. I have family there, it's fantastic place to be...although rules are strict, foreigners in UK/IRE have way easier life than there. Saying that I know that wages or work wise is really good.
Good luck in new place
