  1. Hi All,

I'm on the hunt currently for a mini skid loader, that will accept the multi attachments. Ideally a second hand one in good condition. Open to brands, but wondered if anyone would share their recommendations. Ideally I'd like it to go through a gate way. I've been looking at Kanga, Opico, Boxer and Giant. Few Chinese ones about. Problem is they come up on eBay occasionally but usually dodgy listings from people abroad annoyingly.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the Cast loaders and Worky Quads

CAST Loader line represents the best that the market can offer in terms of practicality, strength and reliability. Compact, lightweight and transportable.

Give us a call at spectrum plant if you would like a look or a demo.
  2. Spectrum Plant is growing and we need to strengthen our*sales team.

We are looking for a*salesperson to sell Timberwolf chippers, FSI stump grinders and Balfor firewood machinery in EITHER the*midlands part of our territory or around Yorkshire.

Excellent customer facing communication skills are essential, as are attention to detail, organisation and self motivation. *We are keen to hear from those with a solid sales background but we like to employ experts so if you come from an arb or arb machinery background but don’t have huge sales experience you might well be the person for us

If you are in the midlands, the role can be based from home or from our Cannock depot. *If you are around Leeds, we plan to open a depot there very soon and we’d expect you to work from the depot whilst it becomes established.

As a salesperson you should expect to be regularly out on the road meeting with customers and carrying out demonstrations of our product range.

The job comes with laptop, mobile and pickup truck.

The salary consists of a basic plus uncapped, profit-based commission.

Please send your CV details of your salary expectations to Phil Edmondson via [email protected]

  3. Would recommend you have a look at the FSI ST20B before you buy anything else, more than you are wanting to spend but much more of a grinder than its competitors.

    Finance deals are available.

please pm me if you would like a demo

    Cheers

  4. Hi all,

I have a 10 year old ped' Dosko hydrostat' grinder converted to "Multi Tip" and am thinking of chopping it for a "Predator P460" because of it's turn table, slightly more powerful engine and electric drive. Reviews would be appreciated.

I have also looked at the "Bandit" equivalent which is slightly heavier, a bit more expensive and nearly the same dimensions as my Dosko.

Feedback on usability, servicing and parts would be appreciated from anyone with experience.

I'd love a "Bandit 2250XP" just a shame about the width.

    Thanks

Hi, It would be well worth you having a demo of the FSI ST20B pedestrian grinder, not self propelled but has a great turntable and grinds better than any 13hp machine i have used, punches well above it's weight.

Give me a call or a pm if you would like a demo.

  5. Just wondered if anyone knew from experience about jo beau 30-110 grinding capabilities compared to something like the bandit 2250 or predator 38

    Cheers

Can I be so bold as to recommend you look at the FSI D30, might just be what you are looking for:thumbup1:

  6. We have a low loader booked to deliver and collect machinery from the Arb show, there will be approx half of the bed available if anyone is looking for haulage down from the Lancaster area via Cannock on the Thursday and back up on the Sunday.

The low loader is a trombone trailer so can be extended if half trailer not enough.

pm me or give me a call.

  7. What's the weight of the entire thing? Needs 2 people to lift it I assume?

I really need something small for those impossible access jobs, there needs to be some sort of commercial grade alpine magnum (which seems to be impossible to get hold of these days)

Quick spec below, hope this answers your questions.

    FSI ST20B Pedestrian Stumpgrinder

    13hp Honda Petrol Engine

    370mm cutting wheel c/w 8 Green teeth

810mm Lateral slew for easy grinding

    Width 680mm

    Weight 125kg

  8. Good looking small grinder that, I always feel 13 hp is never enough to deliver proper grinding power, any I've used in the past seemed underpowered.

That looks like it has a heavier cutting wheel, what weight is the cutting wheel ?

    Robert

The weight of the cutting wheel c/w shaft and hub is 13.5kg, 11kg without.

    Hope that helps
