  1. We applied for thinning out and was refused so had to stick strictly to 20 percent.

The problem was massive internal epicormic growth made climbing very difficult.

I know exactly what your saying me an the customer agreed to but im not one to piss off the council lol:laugh1:

  2. Went on the weight bridge today for my specific truck which now has custom chipbox 10ft ally body its obviously a crewcab also climbing gear and usual tools per day. Plus 85kgs of me.

with no load on it was exactly 2500kgs unlaiden.

Which means it can carry 1 tonne hope this helps other crewcab drivers.

And most normal tippers are 2350kgs ally maybe 2200kgs

  3. The problem is i have been offered one with ally body told weighs under 2 tonne or there abouts.

I aint a fan of crewcabs but ill leaning to the darkside. Any one got pros and cons compared to normal size tipper.

    Would appreciate helpful advice.:confused1:

  4. Update,

Just had another look at my bottom feed roller and yes the hydro unit has some slight play over the studs the holes are slightly bigger then they should be is this a new unit or can i get the outer shell.

Its working fine so should i let sleeping dogs lie untill a problem occurs.??
