  1. I dont, i would be happy doing whatever im told to do, but if im asked to climb should i turn around and say no?
  2. hi, i dont usually post on this forum but i learn alot off here and usually keep my opinions to myself, im currently in my 2nd year at college and finding a work placement is very difficult, ive been told to stay away from the "bigger companies" because they rarely give u the chance to climb or even use a saw, but getting the opportunity to work with any experienced climbers is surely better that nothing?, ive been given a job for a small company and they let me climb on a regular basis but part of me thinks should i be up there or should i be dragging brash and learning from the more experienced people? i would be happy working on the ground and learning and earning the respect to become a climber. or should i jump into the deep end?

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
