what public liability insurance company is everyone using?

Hi dig dug dan, I"m not entirely sure of what has happened so preparing for the worse, greenplant-surrey will have the chipper by 7:30am tommorow morning and will diagnose the fault. I"m based in southgate, north london, just getting a little ahead of myself and thinking how to solve this problem super quick without costing too much time/money. Thank you for the reference, worse case scenario ill buy a recon unit and get greenplant to fit. Ill try that company you reccommended. Cheers buddy Chris

Tree Monkeys, On friday afternoon i had an engine failure of some description, i will find out in more detail tommorow. Just thinking ahead has anyone replaced or reconditioned the v1305 kubota engine and if so what company did you use? Thanks for your time

See thats what im talking about listening to people like yourself, just the answer i was looking for thanks charlieh, although i wonder how much bhp a ported modified muffler 660 is pushing out compared to a standard 880? ill stick wiv the 7 tooth sprocket as advised, cheers man

Hotsaw lovers, Looking for someone to port my 2 x MS660"s. they will have scott wojo mufflers on them so they will need total setting up after modification. Does anyone know of someone that has carried out this work before and knows what they are doing, dont want me saws wrecked, any direction would be appreciated, thinking about it could you not just drop off motors at a 2 stroke motorcycle tuning specialist? To all stump grinder owners, Being new to owning a stumpgrinder (Rayco RG13 series 2), im a bit lost on which way to maintain/sharpen/use the teeth. For example i bought a Saturn machine knives grinding disc especially for teeth sharpening, but at £55 odd + vat + postage i didnt know if this is cost effective, plus the disc doesnt seem to last long, or do you use the teeth until there blunt, bin them and replace with pattern parts or originals, or do you re tip them? Whats the most cost effective/time saving and performance gaining option? Also what blunts a stumpgrinding tooth very quickly? Kind regards Chris

Can anyone tell me from experience what would be the best choice as in super fast cutting speed without loading the motor up, for the following saw. I have a Stihl MS660, 36inch bar 11z, running Oregon rapid super chain, the question is what size drive sprocket should i choose? I believe they come in 7/8 teeth size, your thoughts and comments please. Kind Regards Chris

Can anyone tell me what difference it makes to cutting/saw performance on Stihl chainsaws if you run a nose bar sprocket size of either 10z or 11z?

I"m with you on that one Rupe, I"ll be buying 2 or more MS200t as the new Ms201t is going to be heavier! Makes sense does"nt it Stihl?

Thanks for your replys and interest, With regards to how much for a MS192t i dont know until someone replys to my request of a contact in France but looking on the internet for a brand new one they are currently at 365 EURO. Deer man, Dime bar? The 192 rear handled saw is available now on the UK market the 200t rear handled version is not. I

Quite simply a MS200t is perfectly good saw, both mine is a USA Stihl which means they can be de restricted to give more power. Absoulutetly fine for take down and large reduction work, felling etc. The MS192t is lighter than the 200t which is better from a fatigue point of view and i plan to run a 12 inch bar possibly a carving bar as to do smaller more detailed work ie apples etc. Sometimes i get the feeling with the 200T that its a bit overkill for some applications hence me wanting a 192T.

Dear Tree Monkeys, I personally am not having much luck in obtaining a new Stihl MS192t, so i"m thinking of going to France to pick two up. Which made me think, if enough people are interested i might collect a few more to sell on when i get back, not at a huge profit just so it covers my travel expenses for one day and i dont mind spending the time, so if anyone is interested let me know and how much are you willing to pay. With regards to price i don"t know how much they are but if anyone is in france could you give me some contact details preferably in and around Calais, i"ve heard they are in B&Q France? or does anyone know of a Stihl dealer over there?
