I was to tell the truth but I think there a little past the sell buy date, the seemed quite leathery or woody even so I was thinking of either chopping a slice off for the garden or just waiting for next year. It's a pity I didn't get in there a little earlier they look yummy

Lot of people using bungee strops I find that when pulling em up to use the stretch really winds me up but I may be looking at some webbing or polyester stuff

I've a small problem with the name of the old stuff I used cause we ain't bought any in around 8 years or so cause we got 100 mtrs last time and it's run out. I know it was beal of some description and White specked but mr dick Leigh don't remember and neither do I so I thought I'd ask you lot to see what yer using I know a lot of you use them there bungee strops but they are not for me but it would be interesting to know what were all using and I can make a judgement what to order

I did a job once just cutting up some windblown old limes that were semi hollowed though the cavities had filled with fine sandy particules turning to clay what a bitch of a job that was. Felt like I had a day of filing no fun trust me

Definitely no problem if it was going to go it would of gone by now. All the weight is in the head. Just piece bits off it best you can but warn the punter tenant that there is a chance of damage due to the way it's fallen. If possible get a winch on it to pull it back or to sturdy it you will be fine.

I'm a total fan of the canon ixus range they take absolutely brilliant pics though may be a touch over the budget mine the canon ixus 960 matches up to anything I've seen in a digital camera and surpasses usually to anything of comparable value I feel that sometimes it makes sense to just push the boat out a little.

Zubat is the one for me the 330. you can get sharpening kit for it too if you are real keen. mine still cuts well after two years. sheath has lost it's hold but high powered magnet gaffa taped to the side dose the trick.

I've glued my sheath together with heat gun glue not lost it once since !

I think if we didn't have tpo's large expanses of older more valuable amenity trees would of been lost due to the fact that most places I've found that the trees are protected are on properties in more affluent areas are a lot of the time they just want the things gone due to it shedding leaves on the lawn or the merc and they have the money to do it. There again I've also seen trees felled by some richer people knowing that they are protected and they just take the hit. I'd keep the tpo's

I think it has myself but because it's round the back of the crem it's not been noticed. It's has the head dropped now and within the next few months the rest is gonna bite the dust with the rest of them ..... Just in time for restocking the log pile

Pholiota is a root and butt killing fungi but some trees can live with it for a while though like I've said earlier this ons a little to close to the crematorium if it fell it would do serious damage and we would have them bodies piling up. I think now they are gonna just take the head out to remove the weight and leave the log till the rest are ready to be done some pruning some felling ... Pity though you got me thinking now I would of been interested in the decay..... hmmmmm! Watch this space

Nope we had to pull the chimney breast down and put up a false one cause behind that one there is a huge fire box and a really big casing to protect the surrounding walls due to the enormous heat it puts out really hot and greedy for wood
