  1. Hi. I’ve been using a T540ixpBattery saw for 2yrs and am now experiencing problems. The first was debris getting in to the handbrake system and not switching off. I took the saw apart and cleaned everything and it fixed the issue for a while. Now it’s playing up again. The electronic throttle is now intermittent which makes using it a nightmare. I don’t think these saws are designed to be taken apart on a regular basis. & The bar adjustment is just not right for the bar. I have really taken to the battery Husqvarna tools. The top handle with less noise and no petrol costs is great but how much longer will it last? Ive had a Stihl ms200t for 15years that still runs!! Anyone else have issues?(with the saw I mean)
  2. Hi. I have a trusty 372 that is in need of a modified exhaust. Can anyone give me any pointers to a supplier so I can give the saw the muff it deserves?? Cheers
  3. i use an austria duo.really light and comfortable.anyone else use it?
  4. been there also.over 2000 tilia in our fine city!epicormic nightmare!
  5. been using a timberwolf 190 tracked machine.v good.got lots of power and think its an 8 incher.also had the 150,good too but lacks power.timberwolf based in stowmarket.a top british chipper.(ive been to the build factory)good service also.
  6. keeping it simple is the best way to be.i use both ends, one prusik and one blakes hitch.forever watch other climbers with too much shiney gear weighing them down.the advantage of the blakes is it can be adjusted accordingly if you need to be closer in or longer for thrusting.i used to carry aditional lines and pulley system.no need.old school rules!
