  1. With an interest in the findings and I suppose, the delay in reporting back, that is the lot of NTSG atm, I imagine you may find this either of interest or an unwanted red herring. cheers.

  2. Hi David....I was reminded that you were at Sheringham Park. If you pay another visit to this backwater, you will be most impressed Im sure by the beech standing in the woodlands of "Forest Park" near Cromer. Planted in 1790, they are among the best examples Ive come across in this area . Anyway, take a camera.

    Tim.

  3. Ben, I have just been looking thru info from G.Perivals seminar and alas, whilst reference was made to mycor innoculation and trial studies, this has not been included in attached pdf's....Perhaps this will emerge in due course....I would suggest keeping an eye on EssentialArb publications.....?

  4. Next week...as you may have read in my posts.....(pti )

Just completed the BS5837 workshop with Treelife....Been at the Meripilus seminar and also VTA workshops....plenty reading really! Havent seen a decent job yet tho' that isnt miles away....(pita)

I assume you are a daddy by now tho' right?

  5. Nothing personal guys...didnt realize removing old thread/comments was gonna leave a trail of pointless white spaces for our enjoyment......still cant post pdf or other useful stuff here as albums either.......

  6. It does seem to place an eccentric value on id...when infact and as so many of the mycology recognition guides frequently repeat, if in doubt, get a second and scientific opinion....O well, it has no doubt reinforced the pertinence of acknowledging what you dont know! Fungi/host interactions are important in hazard evaluation. I will have the opportunity to raise this issue with the Treelife crew in due course and believe me I would like to know what their take is on the criteria.

Sorry to hear that....keep going I guess, as it is something you will be practicing almost without knowing it.....

  7. How did you get on with the PTI this time around Ben or are you still on tenterhooks waiting?

  8. Hey Steve...am I missin' something here cos I cannot upload simple pdf files as an album format on my user profile....and cant work out a way to simply post a list of useful/interesting links whatever......?
