  2. The tree was natural heritage. They want to keep it's remainings as long as possible. Insects and fungi would speed up natural processes. They would like to slow them down. Thats the wish of the owner. Otherwise I agree with you Gayn. But anyway, what to do to have this dead stem present for the future?
  3. Hi ! Has anyone some idea or experiences in preserving standing dead oak tree? Tree died because of insect Ceramyx cerdo and fungi Laetiporus sulphureus. It has more than 2 meters of diameter and now the remaining stamp has cca 10 meters. They want to preserve it's dimension. They want to stop insect and fungi activity. Has anyone a solution? Thanks for help.

  5. We have two Iveco daily with aerial lift, Renault Kangoo. Saws: Stihl 480, Stihl 361 (1-2 years old) Workers have 11, 8, 3, 2 years of experiences We do not offer accomodation, but can help to get some I agree with you about gear. We are not saving on it. It has to be safe! Each ouf our climbers use his own gear bought by employer. For good workers we can pay some more than 5euros per hour...we can negotiate...

All taxes are paid, the phone for work needs is paid, you have company truck or car with gas for company needs, saws are good, ground men are experienced (is that what you meant with groundies?), in 8 hour per day you have 30 minutes of paid break, if you will work good I can promise that I will repay one planeticket for you (but first you have to show what you can do . and there still can be some negotiations...wellcome drink is paid... gear allowance? what do you mean by that? all equipment you will need (except clothes for the first month) is ours... Slovenia is a nice country. We have Alps, sea, hilly terrain, flatland... You will work in the middle.   7. 8 hours work per day for that money...40 hours per week... all extra hours are extra paid...
  8. For now we can offer you 5€ net per hour that means gross income cca1400-1500€ per month. And you get our equipment for work.
  9. Arborists, tree climbers or tree workers working on aerial lifts required to join forestry company in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s Capitol. Demands: At least two years of experiences in tree pruning and cutting. Driving license. Climbing skills or experiences in working with aerial lift. Knowledge in using appropriate safety gear like climbing and roping equipment and cutting tools (chainsaw). You can start working immediately.
