  2. Hi David, I use my alaskan occasionally more for my own use when there is a decent piece of timber in a tight location where i cant get the ATV or landy to extract it, I use the timber my self generally rustic garden furniture tables etc. I do enjoy using it but its quite thirsty on fuel and slow but if you have the time and some nice timber, its a cheap way of utilising it rather than logging it all. I maybe use it half a dozen times a year, when i have a job im not in a rush with (so mostly on the in-laws farm)

I do use mine on my husky 372xp even though i have a big stihl, as i find the time difference isnt to bad and the fuel saving is quite a lot about 33% less with the husky for the same amount of timber.

    regards

  3. its pretty good, the only oddity is the quick buttons at the top eg home, forum, faq etc all have the button then also display the text in white overlapping it, but thats the only issue, sorry about the delay in replying i saw a notification yesterday but then couldnt find out how to get back to it! this new set up is very nice, you should be very pleased. Any thoughts on a xmas comp for this year, another raffle?
