  1. Hello! I found this recently in Croxteth Park, Liverpool, UK, whilst walking my dog. I assume that it is tree resin that has formed inside a hollow branch or trunk? I also took a pic of the trees at the location where I found it. I've never seen anything like it and I can't find any information on the web to help me get more information. I would love to know more about what it is? I would really appreciate anyone's thoughts? It is about 10cm in diameter and about 25cm long. It is very light in weight. I found it on the floor, in the woods. There was no indication of what or where it had come from. There was nothing else like it in the general area. It looks like it has been clean cut at one edge, with equipment? Thanks for any help in advance. I have tried to research on the internet, but can't find anything. I probably don't know the correct vocab to get the relevant results?
