  1. Haven't seen a squirrel here for a few years tbh 🤔
  2. Nope ... That's a main high branch I cut down but I don't use a strimmer anywhere near the tree. It was in a deep border.
  3. No kids here 🤔
  4. No animals around in my garden ... The tree started to lose leaves two summers ago. The bark started to bleed lower down on the main trunk around November. After the branches started to shred it's bark (like pulled pork) the bark at the base of the trunk started to split and break up in fibrous strands. I think It's some type of disease is some type of insect. 😏
  5. Hi 👋 I had to fully remove my Rowan tree. Over the last three summers its leaves started to turn brown and some of the smaller branches started to die in mid summer. The following spring the tree budded well and bloomed healthily but again mid to late summer the leaves died as if it were autumn 🍂 ... Just before Christmas I noticed some hanging bark from one of its main branches, then over the next few weeks the bark literally started to fall of in strands. The tree had splits / wounds everywhere. Unfortunately I had to fully remove the tree last week, it was 12 years old. My question is what would cause this. No other trees in other gardens seem to have suffered any diseases. Last summer I constantly watered the tree with a soaker just in case it was a hydration problem but it didn't work. 🤔
