  • APF 2024 Invites Sponsors For the 2024 Tree Climbing Competition & Arb Worker Zone

APF 2024 will take place at Ragley Estate on the 19/20/21st September 2024.

Around half of the 23000 visitors to the show regard themselves as working in arboriculture.  The event is therefore very important for companies working within the arb sector as they have a very targeted audience.

At APF 2022 we staged our first tree climbing competition and introduced our new Arb Worker Zone focusing on the needs of the working arborist .  We are looking to develop these for APF 2024 and are looking for partners to work with us to make them even more popular, high-profile features.

The tree climbing can be one or more events and branded with the sponsors name.  It could feature individual and team events and we are looking to make it as exciting and spectator friendly as possible.

The Arb Worker Zone, situated in the heart of the static display area, is a mix of technical demos of new machines, equipment and techniques, workshops for technical issues such as machine maintenance, competitions such as line throwing and knot tying and a seminar tent with short presentations on key topics of the day.

Exhibition Secretary, Ian Millward commented ‘Both the tree climbing competition and the AWZ are in high profile locations on the showground and are an excellent opportunity to increase a companies brand name and profile in the arb industry.  We are looking to work with companies to develop these areas and are happy to discuss ideas with any company wanting to be involved.  With 12500 working arborists visiting it is an opportunity not to be missed ‘.
