Saw turned out to be a mish mash of cheap ebay parts and although seemed very useable the seller wouldn't budge on price (£285) so i'm back to the search again

 

Unfortunately as the 346xp OE or NE are still worth good money !! there are a few "Bitza" saws about and some are being portrayed as "Genuine". The other one that is also ripe for "Bitzaration " is the 357 xp. I know by getting it wrong and ending up with a saw that was described as "Genuine" and had been cobbled together with about the worst "none" OEM top end iv ever seen !! :cursing: I learnt a valuable lesson .

Im very glad you got to give the saw the once over and were able to ascertain all was Perhaps ..."Not as it should be" .
