Hand pole saw choice?

Hi, I've now taken delivery of a Hayauchi and first impressions are very good, even managed to cut down a couple of 6-10" thick dead branches! Thanks for everyone's suggestions...

Good choice.

I used to have the Silky setup with the blade and a seperate lopper attachment but sold it when i got an AUS Pole set, complete with separate Bahco blade attachment, hook and parrot nose lopper/pruner. I prefer this setup as the sections are 1.2m long and i have 11 sections and is easy to store in the truck. Being insulated is a bonus too, not cheap though.

It's great for getting an anchor point for my climbing line and i haven't used a throw line for a few years now.

Horses for courses i guess.
