Working in Canada

Hello,

 

New to the forums so a big HELLO to all you arb guys and gals out there.

 

I've been climbing 4 years got all my usual tickets, confident in a bucket, rigging, big/small trees, spiking etc...

 

I've been looking at the possibility of moving to Canada but not sure how to get there as i'm over the threshold for the holiday working visa so would need a bigger company who can get a Labour Market Impact Assessment.

 

I've emailed a couple of companies such as Bartletts and i think davey trees.

 

If anyone knows anywhere else could you give me some pointers.

I would recommend contacting the ISA to see if anyone is hiring in Canada.

Better make sure you have at least 1 years salary saved before you make this trip/decision. The cost of goods and services may appear cheap once you arrive, however once your own Pounds run low you will have a better understanding of how poorly the Canadian Dollar is compared to the Pound or even the USD.
