Stihl MS230 C - new carb issue - no connection for priming pipe!

On the rebuild kit, you have a Walbro WT so you need a Walbro WT rebuild kit. Take the carb apart and check out the diaphragms against an image of the WT kit and they should be the same. The number generally indicates slight differences to jets and design etc and a generic WT kit should work.

Blocking off primer carbs is pretty easy, short bit of pipe with a suitable blank in the end off it, golf tee works well, push onto the unused connection, don’t forget to blank the return to tank pipe, unfortunately this is not going to help with your starting issues.

Thanks, that has set my mind at rest.

Great suggestion. I'll strip down the old one and match it. Thanks.
