I think once you find out the rigorous testing processes, and the cost of these, coupled with how small a market you are targeting, you might realize the price you are hoping to sell these at is quite unrealistic.

No not powder coated, just painted to look pretty. I agree, any sort of paint will soon get worn off and yes plating is the way to go, we have already decided to make the bollard shorter on the next one to reduce the forces acting on it. Curving the plate is a good idea too. Thanks for the input.

Thanks Steve, I will be getting some costs next week for testing with any luck so you might be right. The reason for me posting on here was to get some input from guys like you to help with making my mind up on wether or not its worth doing. Thanks again.
