Hi mate

Maximum respect to you for building your knowledge up.

Get a copy of Alan Mitchells 'Trees of Britain & Northern Europe' it is still one of the most comprehensive tree ident books...

We used to call it 'the bible' when I was at college!!!

The other advice given on the post is also a superb way of learning the tree species.

Try and and i.d in a few fungi fruit bodies when you get chance.

Cheers mate.

We all have different leaning styles, I get the misses to quiz me and i,m also collecting leaf, twigs and fruit/seed from trees, shrubs and climbers. i also do the smae with fungi and friuting bodies. Id them at work or at home...

It takes time and My latin is still poor my spelling is really poor and always will be so don't worry about as there easy enough to look up in a good ID book (collins one with black cover a nice one) any really tough ones post them on here and you'll get plenty of opinions.

Good luck
