How big of an engine could you fit in there could in be modified to fit 100 hp

Was thinking of either re-fitting a Deutz 3 cylinder, as when it left Vermeer, or a nice Perkins. The Deutz would be the easiest, as its air cooled, but old. Perkins more powerful and parts are easier to get, so have to try and pin down a route to take.

Ideally have to be something with 80-100BHP with a nice amount of torque.

 

That looks a beast Bob, bit more up to date then mine lol
