buckle failure on my spikes

Hi all just wondering if anyone has had or heard of this failure on treehog spikes. I was up the tree at the time of failure not the best time for it to happen. I have only climbed on these spikes 15 times max as I have other spikes that I normally climb on

There have been issues with the rivets in the past as shown here http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/994139-post9.html which Arbortec seemed to deal with quickly & efficiently so it is probably worth contacting them.

I've alerted our product development manager about this as we take this kind of incident very seriously. Ccrocket, I've sent you the name of the person you need to speak to directly, as although I'm not aware of any other incidents like this, we'll need to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.

Great customer service from arbotec. Issues has been discussed they are going to resolve the issue and have sent out new and updated straps with a free gift chucked in also.

 

Wish all customer service was like this. 10/10
