Management info systems

Can anyone recommend a simple integrated on-line system? We are a small family business that is looking for a cost effective administration package. Many thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Coriniumarb - what specifically are you looking to use it for ie which elements of admin? - Job sheets? costings? invoicing? Stock control? Employee cards etc. etc.

 

I could just tell you to get confident in some very basic SQL programming and write your own MIS in MS Access - but this may not really be your ideal situation (although you would have total control over it, so I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand).

 

Others on here have suggested various web/app based services for things like invoicing, so there may be more than one solution to what you are looking for.

 

So, could you be a little more specific as to your needs or what you are looking to manage?

As above, depends heavily on what you're wanting it to 'do' for you really.

 

if it's just an invoicing & estimates system, you could do far worse than to look at something like FreshBooks - it's pretty much the admin backbone of our little web design company and it's served us really well indeed.

we've been using jobber for a while, very easy to use. we dont use it to its full potential by far but suits our needs.
