seeking work north west

hiya all

i am currently after work around lancs, manchester, west yorkshire, cheshire areas. i have about 18 months ground and aerial experience (including 7 months overseas) plus one year at college. i am 27, reliable, responsible and although still learning im a fit and fairly competent climber.

i have a drivers license (post 97 unfortunately), car, protective gear, climbing kit and hopefully my own saw soon.

tickets wise i have the essential 4 CS units plus pesticide applications 1 and 6.

id be very greatful for the opportunity to get back into work so if anyone is looking to take on or just needs a lift for the odd job here and there then get in touch

id be willing to work a couple of days free trial if necessary.

good luck with the hunt but offering yourself as free trial may just get you used and abused. look into utillity stuff if your after work most tenders have either just come out or are about to so there maybe work around

thanks. to be honest i recon if i said id work 7 days a week, permenantly, for free, id be lucky to get a job round here at the moment. id be more than happy to do a couple of free days to prove my worth.

ive tried utility firms but no joy yet.

what i have is aptitude and enthusiasm, what i dont have is a name for myself or years of experience, which it seems is what you need to get work. very frustrating.

I believe that United Utilities in Blackburn are looking to take on a few new crews between now and the end of the year, it may be worth getting in touch with them and getting your name at the top of the list.
