Interesting proposal for Carvers in Essex/Herts/S East

I have been approached with an interesting request that requires the services of a competent chainsaw carver.

 

The project will be a permanent fixture in a prominent Arb related setting, viewed by thousands of people over the years and will receive quite a lot of targeted publicity. The remit is quite open at this stage but it will revolve around Arboriculture/wildlife theme - NO BEARS WITH FISHES!!!

 

I cant give any details on remuneration at the moment as the project is currently being built, but my spider senses tell me it's going to worth more in publicity/future commissions and reputation rather than mountains of cash.

 

If you are interested please p.m. me with examples of some of your masterpieces ( or a link to where I can access them ) and I will approach the client with the pick of the bunch.

 

Once we have selected the most suitable we will move forward to a meeting on site to view the location and discuss details. The timescale is quite current so I would imagine a start date in the very near future i.e. job done by Christmas.

I will be speaking to the client over the weekend and I will get back to everyone individually during next week, rest assured your interest will be responded to, and the job seems to be getting better and better.

 

Just to clarify, there is no gain in this for me, I am fortunate to be in a position where I can genuinely help members of the forum to have an opportunity to be involved in something that has resonance within our industry, the finished work will be viewed by some influential people and even more who will aspire to be as good as you.
