What kind of timber are you getting?

Posted
Hardwood at the minute, It is not seasoned. However I was thinking about getting a load of dried stuff and processing / selling now for this winter!

Why?

Just asking, because 99% of timber being sold in truckloads down here is softwood. Hardwood very hard to get.

Where are you based. Do you process the timber youself?

Co Kerry, no, i have a forestry which I will be starting to take thinings off in the couple of years, will definitly buy a processor then, but they are pricey :w00t:. I the meantime I may start buying in timber like yourself to get started. Bought a splitter last week, didnt get it yet.

Is timber plentiful up there?
